(winter 2017)
Using a raspberry pi microcomputer and a camera module, I installed a surveillance camera server outside my bedroom window. The footage reveals activity of unsuspecting pedestrians and vehicles. Through a repetitive bulk of images, we observe patterns in the unsuspecting.
The intention of the project was to reappropriate the privacy of my bedroom, by redirecting observation on the outside. By creating an invasive surveillance system, the focus was redirected to the people passing along in public space.
